They say, “food tastes better if you made it with love” and I believe that.
My dad told this to me when I was in high school that, I’d be great at anything if only I wasn’t lazy. I enjoy doing experimental cooking sometimes but as a lazy person, I try to avoid it as much as possible. I remember when we went to one of my dad’s opening exhibits that I tasted a different kind of spaghetti. My dad challenged me to do something similar and on the next day, I went to do some groceries.
Kilawin
That time I tried recreating the taste from what I could remember and I did create something similar. The preparation took two hours but it was worth it. My parents would request me creating it again on some occasion.
Now, this is going to be my first Kilawin that I will be sharing at my best friend Ian’s Christmas party tonight. I just hope that I got the taste right for everyone to enjoy. I dedicate this kilawin for my Chris and to Ian.
I wanted to use tuna at first but there wasn’t any available tuna at all. I end up using blue marlin instead.
